With eight gold and platinum plaques it’s no wonder that Ron Browz is a force in the game. Though he remains in heavy demand form some of today’s hottest acts, few people who listen to his work even know he exists. Having contributed to the phenomenal Nas dis record “Ether” and several tracks including hits for 50 Cent’s “Get Rich or Die Trying” soundtrack, Banks’ “Playboy”, DMX’s “F*ck Y’all” on the Grand Champ LP, “Whatz The Word” on Lil Kim’s La Bella Mafia album, Snoop Dogg’s collaboration with 50 Cent “Oh No”, Jae Mills “Who”, and Ludacris’s smash hit “Blow It Out”, Ron has delivered the fire needed to burn up the charts. Having had the chance to work with some of the best he says he would love to “work with Nelly and some R&B artists.” The most memorable experience for him to date has been the release of 50’s “Get Rich or Die Trying.” The movie opened up to rave reviews and place both 50 and Ron Browz on another level. “People around the whole world when they go to see this movie, as soon as the movie comes on they hear my beat.” He wanted to tackle 50’s other release entitled “The Massacre” by locking himself in the studio for two weeks just banging out production, but it never made the cut. Though he was disappointed he still captured a spot on the movies soundtrack and opening. Ron’s been busy this year with the Jae Mills record, Jadakiss, and breaking his label Money Ave. The label was put together 4 years ago and has been slowly gaining momentum as Ron increased his presence in the music industry. Their flagship artist is T-Rex, the hungry emcee most notably from the battles on Smack DVD’s. The label consists of three emcees and one R&B artist. ”I’m trying to throw a Bad Boy and Deathrow mix together.” As his production credits continue to rise Ron has plans to keep putting in work to become a household name. ”If people still don’t respect it, I’m just going to keep hitting ya’ll, until you are like this kid is unbelievable.”
